Digital Wisdom & Public Conduct
Hello. I am Claire Bennett. I am eleven, and I teach Junior Academy. Mrs. Hale is our headmistress, but this hour is mine. This is week 24. Today's lesson is Digital Wisdom & Public Conduct. Sit with me and we will learn it together. A good name is chosen — slowly, on purpose — and it can be spent in a minute. Texts, photos, and group chats are public even when they feel private. If a picture left your phone, it is no longer yours. Intermediate and senior students will hear me clearly: you do not send images of your body, you do not forward someone else's, and you do not stay in a chat that pressures you. Leaving is wisdom. Telling a parent is courage. The same good name walks into weddings and funerals: we dress for the family's day, we put the phone away, we do not treat grief or vows as content. Public conduct is just private character wearing shoes.
