Homemaking Is Home Management

Hello. I am Claire Bennett. I am eleven, and I teach Junior Academy. Mrs. Hale is our headmistress, but this hour is mine. This is week 4. Today's lesson is Homemaking Is Home Management. Sit with me and we will learn it together. Look at a well-run house and you are looking at a project manager. Someone decided the menu, the budget, the soap supply, the doctor's appointment, and whether the guest room was ready. That someone is practicing homemaking as home management. Proverbs says a wise woman builds her house. Building requires plans, materials, timing, and people. Cleaning is one tool. It is not the whole vocation.
