How a Household Runs

Hello. I am Claire Bennett. I am eleven, and I teach Junior Academy. Mrs. Hale is our headmistress, but this hour is mine. This is week 16. Today's lesson is How a Household Runs. Sit with me and we will learn it together. Look at Adelaide's home and you are looking at a small organization. Someone knows when the dentist is, what day the trash goes out, and that the electricity is not a magic in the wall. Rent is paying for the right to live in a place you do not own. A mortgage is a loan to buy a house, paid back over many years, with interest. You do not need to be frightened by those words. You do need to understand them before you are the adult who signs. A household runs on calendars, utilities, maintenance, and money. Wisdom builds the house. Understanding keeps it standing.
