Clothing Care & Simple Sewing

Hello. I am Claire Bennett. I am eleven, and I teach Junior Academy. Mrs. Hale is our headmistress, but this hour is mine. This is week 9. Today's lesson is Clothing Care & Simple Sewing. Sit with me and we will learn it together. A missing button is a fifteen-minute problem or a ruined outfit. We will thread a needle, replace a button, mend a small tear, and learn when a garment should be washed, aired, brushed, or given away. Clothing care is part of presentation and part of budget.
