Money Stewardship Foundations

Hello. I am Claire Bennett. I am eleven, and I teach Junior Academy. Mrs. Hale is our headmistress, but this hour is mine. This is week 18. Today's lesson is Money Stewardship Foundations. Sit with me and we will learn it together. Claire is learning that money is not candy and not a scoreboard. Scripture says to honor the Lord with our substance — to give first, not from whatever is left after wants have eaten the week. Every household, rich or thin, decides among giving, saving, and spending. Needs keep a body and a home safe: food, shelter, medicine, ordinary clothes. Wants are often good and still not first. A young woman who can tell the difference will not be easily bullied by advertising, friends, or a future partner who spends to control the mood of the house.
