Education, Gifts & Purpose

Hello. I am Claire Bennett. I am eleven, and I teach Junior Academy. Mrs. Hale is our headmistress, but this hour is mine. This is week 33. Today's lesson is Education, Gifts & Purpose. Sit with me and we will learn it together. Adelaide has a budget page open because purpose has numbers attached. First Peter says each person has received a gift to minister to others. That might be algebra, a calm voice in a crisis, a trade skill, a way with children, a mind for Scripture, or the ability to start a small business. This academy will never tell you that a capable woman must hide her mind to be godly. Finish school. Then choose with counsel: college, a trade, a job, an enterprise, ministry, a household — sometimes more than one in a life. Marriage and motherhood, if they come, are not the cancellation of your gifts. They are one of the places those gifts will be spent. A gift unused is not humility. It is a buried coin.
